Interview with Starman (Spring 2006, Deathtrap goes 2004)
In spring 2006, The Thunderdome was refurbished and new technology was installed. Starman's Deathtrap was upgraded to Unreal Tournament 2004.
On the eve of the opening, I -Angus McPherson - finally managed to get an interview with Starman:
AMcP: Starman, what was the reason for your long absence?
Starman: You know, activity was pretty low, since this coward (Starman uses some words that wouldn't be appropriate to repeat) Siegi_Slaughter vanished. So I decided to take a long time off.
AMcP: What did you during your sabbatical?
Starman: Ah, this and that. Mainly exercising.
I worked as dive master in various locations for some months.

AMcP: Er, yes. I visited your bar once or twice (Note: Read all about this adventure here)
Starman: Now I know! You were the Newbie who drank a Brainbuster with Amanda!
AMcP: Er, yes... Starman, what are your plans with the renovated Deathtrap.
Starman: Well you can see that The Thunderdome
is still pretty basic. First, I need to hire some skilled permanent Fighters.
And then I'll probably look for some cool new Mutators and Mods. But I'll definitely
not make the same mistake as with the old Arena that required tons of downloads.
We'll need some decent local stats as well.
Eventually, I'll refurbish my bar.
AMcP: And your personal plans?
Starman: Bash some heads of course! And maybe this coward Siegi_Slaughter comes out of his rat-hole. But I don't believe it. He probably grew a tummy and found him self some nice little family. I can imagine him with a tie and a tux working as Sales Clerk or insurance agent or something.
Starman: Listen man, I gotta wrap this up. Need to work on the Thunderdome. Cya.
AMcP: Starman, thanks for your time. Maybe we can have another interview in a couple of months when the renovation is finished?
